It'll soon be June, we are leaving in a few days, my sleeping bag is rated zero (pretty safe for June you would think) and they are forecasting minus two tomorrow night.June looked so good statistically!

You should have gone in April!
It was -0.2C in Sennybridge at 4am today.

This is what you need to carry, a Nupste Vest. It's basically a down jacket without the sleeves and hood. It weighs hardly anything and packs really small. Ideal for sitting around camp during chilly nights and mornings and great for extra insulation in the sleeping bag when needed.

My wife has one and she loves it! I have gone for a Berghaus Infinity Light for an insulation layer... should just about be OK if it doesn't get any colder!
